Contemplative Thought # 1

I plan to begin this "Blog Thing" by contributing a short, terse, bubble of an idea. I will call these ideas..."contemplative Thoughts," although in reality, I may not contemplate on an idea too long.
Sometimes I have ideas that just "pop" into my head like this one. I have found out that people usually rise up to your expectations of them. In other words, I have found that if i have faith in a person's ability to accomplish something, they seldom let me down. Conversely, thinking that a person cannot accomplish something, or having a low expectation in a person's ability, usually spells disaster. It took me awhile to figure this out.

There is a strong correlation between the self fulfilling prophecy and prayer. In the former you rise to your expectations, in the latter one rises to the expectations of others
